Christoph Soldan and the Silesian Chamber Soloists

Acclaimed pianist and conductor Christoph Soldan (Leonard Bernstein: "I am impressed by the spiritual greatness of this young musician.") joins the Silesian Chamber Soloists, one of Europe's most successful string ensembles, for a guest concert in Leutkirch im Allgäu.

Their joint project "Vivaldiana - Die 4 Jahreszeiten einmal anders" is a cross-over that genuinely earns the label. A highly virtuosic four-movement piano concerto built on Vivaldi's Four Seasons, it moves through jazz, swing, tango and bossa nova. The programme spans from Vivaldi to Deep Purple.

Programme: F. Mendelssohn (Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream), M. Ravel (String Quintet in F major), D. Zboch (VIVALDIANA - DIE 4 JAHRESZEITEN), arrangements of 1960s and 70s hits, and Jewish traditional melodies (including Queen, Procol Harum, Deep Purple).
