Christoph Soldan and the Silesian Chamber Soloists

Pianist and conductor Christoph Soldan - of whom Leonard Bernstein said: "I am impressed by the spiritual greatness of this young musician." - appears as a guest with the Silesian Chamber Soloists in Leutkirch im Allgäu.

The centrepiece is the joint concert project "Vivaldiana - Die 4 Jahreszeiten einmal anders" by D. Zboch: a highly virtuosic four-movement piano concerto built on Vivaldi's Four Seasons, blending jazz, swing, tango and bossa nova. Rounding out the programme are Mendelssohn's Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ravel's String Quintet in F major, and arrangements of pop hits from the 1960s and 70s alongside Jewish traditional melodies - including pieces by Queen, Procol Harum and Deep Purple.
