"Ächde Älbler" - Life right next to heaven!

For Hillus Herzdropfa, the simple formula of Thaddäus Troll applies: "A Swabian is someone who speaks Swabian." Schwobaländle is not a politically defined state, but a cultural space - a region where people share a common culture. This includes Swabian thriftiness ("You have to save the salt from the pretzel so the guest doesn't get thirsty!"), of course Spätzle in all its variations, Maultaschen in every form - and a glass of Swabian cider:

"Good cider heals every pain, it is the Swabian's pearl. Wine gladdens the human heart, but cider gladdens the whole fellow!" (source unknown)

What else belongs to a true Älbler, Hillus Herzdropfa - themselves genuine Älblers - show in this programme. They know everything about these highlanders and what else goes on in the Alb region. Speaking dialect is a matter of honour: Zirengga? Schdriggjäggle? Aurawai? Soidawieschd?

The programme is a parody of the land and people of Schwobaländle. Hillus Herzdropfa bring their Älbler dialect to the stage - keeping the "language of the heart" in use is close to their hearts. And anyone who doesn't know what "Dobblet gmobblet" means will find out during the performance.
