The Cow Rosemarie
Das Kulturhaus., Kehl, Germany
A family play by Andri Beyeler - for children from age 5
Based on the picture book "The Cow Rosalinda" by Frauke Nahrgang and Winfried Opgenoorth
Theater Patati Patata
The hen clucks too loudly, the dog smacks while eating, the goldfish has no swimming costume - and the farmer's pajamas are simply embarrassing. Cow Rosemarie knows best about everything and has nothing good to say about anyone. The solution seems clear: the cow must go, far away. The farmer drags her to the airport, books a ticket, and sends her off into the world.
Finally, peace on the farm - until suddenly a crocodile growls at the barn door, then a lion, a giraffe, more and more strange animals. Because since Rosemarie has been living far away, no animal there is allowed to be the way it is. Peaceful coexistence has come to an end.
With wordplay and music, the play tells of narrow-mindedness and what respectful, tolerant coexistence truly means.
