#24 Sunrise Concert with Breakfast
Kloster Schöntal, Germany
52 €
Fürstlich Löwensteinische Hofmusic
Since 2012, the ensemble with over ten concert performances has been a permanent fixture of our festival. Especially because it always creates a musical connection to Hohenlohe and brings regional history to life. Once again, a premiere will be heard: a partita by Franz Heinrich Ehrenfried, who was born in Erlenbach near Krautheim. Moreover, two works by F.C. Neubauer and G.J. Vogler remind us that these two such different musical personalities met at Schöntal Monastery. But the focus is on the year 1756. Wolfgang Amadé Mozart is born, but also Johann Christoph Vogel, who achieved success in Paris as an opera composer, and Joseph Martin Kraus, who had lasting influence in Sweden. People also speak of the "Franconian" and "Swedish" Mozart. And because Carl Andreas Goepfert arranged numerous works of the "true" Mozart for wind band - just as today also excerpts from The Magic Flute - he is also called the "Meiningen Mozart".
After the concert, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet.
