O'Malley has been playing concert halls, festivals, pubs and all kinds of celebrations since 1984 - anywhere a room can spontaneously turn into an Irish or Scottish pub.

The trio features multi-instrumentalist Oswald Schimek (guitar, Irish bouzouki, banjo, tin whistle, harp, bodhrán, vocals), singer Wende Weigand (vocals, guitar) and fiddler Matthias Merzbacher (fiddle, vocals, shaker). Their repertoire ranges from traditional to contemporary Celtic folk in the O'Malley style, with occasional forays into country, rock and blues - and sometimes even a touch of Franconian flavour.
