What adventures await Pinocchio! Just moments ago he was a wooden puppet, and now he is to become a real boy. The woodcarver Geppetto once carved him from a piece of pine wood. When he decides to sell the life-sized puppet at the market, the good fairy Antonella brings the wooden figure to life.

But becoming a real boy is not easy at all. You have to go to school and face challenges. And most importantly: you must not lie! Pinocchio, however, has great difficulty with this. How can he always be honest when the clever fox Amadeo and the forgetful cat Cerubino keep trapping him? To avoid making his father sad, Pinocchio invents a little fib here and there, but his lies show on his nose.

Pinocchio must overcome many obstacles so that his greatest wish - to become a real boy - comes true. His exciting journey takes him to the theatre, across golden fields, and into dark corners. He encounters both cunning characters and true friends. Until a giant whale swallows him while he searches for his father Geppetto…

Carlo Collodi's story of Pinocchio is over a hundred years old and known throughout the world.
