Claudia has given everything she has - and still gets passed over for promotion. Instead, her slimy colleague Hagen moves up the ladder, with help from Dorothee, who suddenly seems a lot less supportive than before. And then there's Steffi - a bit scatterbrained, a bit naive - or maybe shrewder than anyone suspected? Between office politics, power games and sexist behaviour, things spiral out of control. Hagen turns up dead in the office. One of them claims self-defence, another calls it an accident - and the third has a cardboard box ready to go. But the more they try to explain themselves, the less their story holds together.
