European jazz from Belgium with melodic original compositions

On his second solo album "Elements", German-Belgian musician Olivier Chavet brings together jazz and nature. No wonder - alongside his music career, the trained jazz drummer runs an organic farm. Through his soul-oriented compositions, Chavet explores what truly matters in life. His music is a tribute to nature with its four elements, which serve as his source of inspiration, and to the rugged yet beautiful landscape of the Eifel, which is his home. On July 9, 2026, Chavet performs with his internationally assembled quartet in the Palm House on Mainau Island. The ensemble features longtime collaborator and bassist Werner Lauscher, trumpeter Carlo Nardozza, and Belgian jazz legend Igor Gehenot on piano.
