Martin Frank - Grüße aus Allgro Süd

Young Lower Bavarian cabaret artist Martin Frank shot onto the cabaret stage like a rocket and glides through the satire orbit like a comet. As the son of a farmer, he keeps glancing toward the Milky Way, but deliberately directs his attentive gaze at city and countryside, at society and its excesses. What he sees, he has summarized in the title of his third solo programme, which premiered in autumn 2020.
"One for all - all for none" - this is how Martin Frank describes his current image of a society in which individual luxury problems seem to overshadow common sense. A world where men feel "discriminated against" at the sight of women's parking spaces, just as girls who are not allowed to sing in boys' choirs. Martin understands the latter very well - as a boy he too wanted to be a member of the women's association. Until his mother showed him her varicose veins and said: "You can't do without those!". And the matter was settled for him.
And then came this virus, this Corona, and nothing is the same as before. First everything stood still, now much is changing - or so they say. That would be the perfect opportunity for a relaunch - as they like to say in Lower Bavaria. One more time from the beginning, with an eye on the really important things in life?
Martin Frank ponders in his usual cheeky manner, with deep meaning and packed with even more arias about our sometimes quite absurd life on this Earth.
