Lower Bavarian cabaret artist Martin Frank takes a sharp look at city and countryside, at society and its excesses in his third solo programme - premiered autumn 2020. As the son of a farmer, he keeps glancing toward the Milky Way, yet never loses sight of what truly matters.

"One for all - all for none": this is how Frank describes a society where individual luxury problems seem to overshadow common sense. A world where men feel "discriminated against" by the sight of women's parking spaces, just as girls who cannot sing in the boys' choir. Martin understands the latter well - as a boy he too wanted to join the women's association, until his mother showed him her varicose veins: "You can't do it without those!".

And then came Corona. First everything stood still, now much is supposed to change - the perfect opportunity for a relaunch, as they say in Lower Bavaria. Once more from the beginning, with an eye on the truly important things in life?

Martin Frank muses in his customary cheeky, tongue-in-cheek manner, peppered with arias about our sometimes rather absurd existence on this earth.
