Matthias Rische reads from his book "Hunde ohne Federn"

For more than 36 years, Matthias Rische has worked with children and young people facing difficult life circumstances. That experience runs through all his writing - his novels, poems and short stories carry an authenticity that is hard to manufacture. His work tackles social injustice, family conflict and the emotional weight of everyday life.
