The third concert in the cloister's vaulted hall at Kloster Alpirsbach takes place on 25 July 2026 at 20:00. Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim returns to Alpirsbach for the tenth time, performing Beethoven's Violin Concerto and Mendelssohn's String Symphony. The evening's soloist is award-winning violinist Liv Migdal. This is one of five German dates for the ensemble in 2026. Admission: 20 €.

Kloster Alpirsbach is a well-preserved Benedictine monastery in the Black Forest town of Alpirsbach, founded around 1095. The Romanesque church and cloister rank among the finest examples of early medieval monastic architecture in southwest Germany. Today the complex hosts concerts, cultural events and guided tours, with the atmospheric vaulted spaces lending a distinctive character to musical performances.
