Extrawurst - by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob

It's supposed to be a mere formality: a tennis club's membership meeting is to vote on purchasing a new grill. The problem only arises when someone proposes financing a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member - because devout Muslims don't place their sausages on a rack with pork. A well-intentioned idea that sparks enormous debate and puts the otherwise peaceful club to the test.

"Extrawurst" is a comedy by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob, who have worked on "Die Wochenshow", "Ladykracher", "Das Amt", and "Stromberg". After the satirical play was performed on many stages, it comes to the big screen in 2026.
