Theater Con Cuore - The Fearless Vampire Killers

In search of proof that the living dead exist, Professor Abronsius and his assistant Alfred travel to the snow-covered Carpathians to an inn run by Jeuni Schagal.

They quickly find signs that confirm the professor's theories, but no one at the inn seems willing to answer his questions. Schagal's daughter Sarah, quite unintentionally, completely turns Alfred's head with her constant urge to "play". Everything appears to be heading toward a dead end... or does it!
Because the arrival of the notorious Count Krolok is not far off.

Experience the story of Roman Polanski's "Dance of the Vampires" as a unique puppet theatre adaptation. The open style of play with directly manipulated puppets allows actors and characters to work as an ensemble. The elements Polanski employed - such as slapstick, deliberate clumsiness, exaggeration, and burlesque situations - create humorous, scenic constellations through the division of roles (human/puppets).

The stage is a stylized sleigh, serving as a link between the scenes of the "inn" and the "castle". The directly manipulated puppets, 1 metre tall, ensure "authentic" performance and convey through their design the characters and peculiarities of the figures portrayed.
