Peter Prange and Mark Scheibe - "DEUTSCHLAND, MON AMOUR"

A literary-symphonic declaration of love featuring Peter Prange and Mark Scheibe.

Peter Prange - bestselling author of "Unsere wunderbaren Jahre" and "Das Bernstein-Amulett" - guides the audience through the entire German 20th century: a drama spanning from the founding of the Reich to the euro, from megalomania to the abyss, through world wars, the economic miracle, and reunification.

Mark Scheibe's soundtrack brings this story to life - performed live on the grand piano, complemented by symphonic recordings, and moving through all the musical styles of the era: from the imperial waltz through swing and popular songs to techno and film orchestra sound.
