Puppet theatre for children aged 4 and up, part of Achern's summer holiday programme.

Puppet theatre marotte from Karlsruhe brings the picture book "The Gruffalo" to the stage.

The great forest is full of dangers. It's good to have a strong friend. And if you don't have one, you can invent one. That's what the little mouse does - she threatens everyone who wants to eat her with the terrible Gruffalo. Except Gruffalos don't actually exist. Or do they?

The Kulturforum Illenau is a cultural centre housed in the historic buildings of the former Illenau psychiatric institution, founded in the 19th century on the outskirts of Achern. The ensemble of listed neo-Gothic and Biedermeier-era structures now serves as a venue for concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and community events. The surrounding park adds a distinctive backdrop to open-air events held on the grounds.
