The Kulturforum Illenau is a cultural centre housed in the historic buildings of the former Illenau psychiatric institution, founded in the 19th century on the outskirts of Achern. The ensemble of listed neo-Gothic and Biedermeier-era structures now serves as a venue for concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and community events.
