Starkenburg Philharmoniker - Musical Greetings from Around the World

The Starkenburg Philharmoniker make their debut in Rödermark with the programme "Musikalische Grüße aus aller Welt".

The overture to The Merry Widow, Tonight from West Side Story, the world-famous Granada, and a tribute to Marilyn Monroe on the occasion of her 100th birthday - these highlights capture the breadth of the evening's musical range.

The programme is a tour through celebrated works from opera, operetta, musical theatre, and symphonic music. Instrumental pieces alternate with heartfelt arias and beloved show tunes.

Performing as soloists are Ale Rojas (soprano) and Marco Antonio Rivera (tenor). Host and singer Jutta Werbelow guides the audience through the programme with charm and poise.

Conductor Volker Christ previously served as chief conductor of the Heidelberger Philharmonisches Orchester and as guest conductor with the Frankfurter Sinfoniker.
