Starkenburg Philharmoniker - Musical Greetings from Around the World

The Starkenburg Philharmoniker makes its debut in Rödermark with the programme "Musical Greetings from Around the World". The repertoire includes the overture to "The Merry Widow", "Tonight" from "West Side Story", the world-famous "Granada", and a tribute to Marilyn Monroe on her 100th birthday - instrumental pieces alternate with arias and musical melodies.

Soloists Ale Rojas (soprano) and Marco Antonio Rivera (tenor) perform alongside moderator and singer Jutta Werbelow. Conductor Volker Christ, former chief conductor of the Heidelberg Philharmonic Orchestra and guest conductor with the Frankfurt Sinfoniker, leads the ensemble.

The concert is especially suited to those who appreciate New Year's concerts.
