Kikeriki-Theater - Nosferatu - An Irony of Horror

Kikeriki Theater comes to Rödermark with a comic puppet show for adults, loosely based on F. W. Murnau's silent film "Nosferatu - A Symphony of Horror".

The company tackles this fantastical subject in its own distinctive way - affectionate, ironic, earthy, and steeped in the dialect and character of southern Hesse.

The tragically restless bloodsucker meets the cunning, peasant-shrewd Kasper in full Hessian style. What starts as a burlesque romp turns into a genuine irony of horror.

Kikeriki Theater has earned cult status well beyond the borders of southern Hesse.
