Komische Nacht is one of Germany's most successful live-comedy formats. In the city's most beautiful cafes, restaurants, and theatres, you'll experience an entertaining and carefree evening - with top entertainment from various comedians, cabaret performers, and stand-up artists. No two Komische Nächte are alike.

Komische Nacht offers a colourful and exciting cross-section of Germany's current comedy scene. At each venue on a given evening, up to 5 comedians perform for approximately 20 minutes each. The best part: at Komische Nacht, you don't have to hop from venue to venue to see different comedians. Simply buy a ticket for your favourite venue, and we'll bring you several artists in one place. At Komische Nacht, the comedians themselves move between stages. From one stage to the next. It's a true comedy marathon for both performers and audience alike.

Whether it's a restaurant or student bar, cultural centre or hair salon, cinema or cocktail bar - the venues of Komische Nacht are as diverse as the comedians performing there. Yet everywhere, the fun factor is the same. At Komische Nacht, laughter takes centre stage. And since laughing alone is possible but can sometimes feel awkward, it's best to go with friends, colleagues, or - depending on your sense of humour - in-laws to a Komische Nacht. Incidentally, the first Komische Nacht took place in 2008 in Oldenburg's city centre. Since then, this unique comedy marathon has regularly taken place in over 40 German cities (including Bielefeld, Frankfurt, Hanover, Kassel, Lübeck, Münster, and Oldenburg).
