MDR HARZ OPEN AIR 2026 - with The BossHoss, Marquess, Der Wilde Garten and family programme
Bürgerpark Wernigerode, Germany
32 €
On 5 September 2026, the MDR HARZ OPEN AIR returns to Bürgerpark Wernigerode. This popular late-summer open-air event for all ages is back with a strong lineup. After a traditional family programme for younger guests in the afternoon and a set from a regional band given their big moment by MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT, the evening belongs to THE BOSSHOSS, MARQUESS and DER WILDE GARTEN.
The event will again be hosted by Susi Brandt, presenter of the TV magazine MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT HEUTE, alongside her radio colleague Lars Wohlfarth, the MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT morning presenter.
THE BOSSHOSS - Live, The BossHoss are pure explosive energy - rock'n'roll with no holds barred. Seven charismatic Berlin cowboys, led by frontmen Alec "Boss Burns" Völkel and Sascha "Hoss Power" Vollmer, deliver a show that grabs you and doesn't let go. Their brand-new album "Back To The Boots" takes them back to their roots: rawer and more honest than ever. Paired with classics like "Don't Gimme That", "Dos Bros", "Do It" and "Jolene", the set leaves nothing to be desired.
MARQUESS - Known for bottling the power of the sun into exotic pop songs. Early superhits like "El Temperamento" (2006) and "Vayamos Compañeros" sent Marquess into the Top 10 in 11 European countries, reaching number one in several. Sascha Pierro, Christian Fleps and Dominik Decker play to hundreds of thousands every year, turning any dancefloor into a full-on Latin fiesta. Their 20th anniversary tour in 2026 brings them to Wernigerode.
GEORGI GOGOW - DER WILDE GARTEN - Four exceptional musicians. Four strong personalities. One band. At the centre: Georgi "Joro" Gogow.
