Marquess is a German Latin-pop band from Hannover, formed in 2006 by vocalist Sascha Pierro, keyboardist Christian Fleps and guitarist Dominik Decker. Their debut single "El Temperamento" broke into the German Top 10 that same year, and "Vayamos Compañeros" (2007) reached #1 in Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Albums such as "Frenética" (2007, #2 Germany, platinum) and "Favoritas" (2014, #5 Germany, platinum) cemented their place as one of Central Europe's most successful Latin-pop acts.
Marquess released their anniversary album "Superelástico" (12 tracks + bonus) on 14 August 2026, marking 20 years as a band.
The lead single from "Superelástico" became available on all streaming platforms from 26 June 2026, with radio airplay starting 23 June.
Marquess are touring Germany in summer/autumn 2026, with confirmed shows in Überlingen (11 July) and Wernigerode (5 September).
The band released the album "Energía" in 2023, continuing their run of charting records.
