When Helmut Schuller received a serious diagnosis, he decided to turn his life around. Rather than medication or surgery, he chose to radically change his diet and prescribed himself daily exercise by bicycle. After nine years of uncertainty, what doctors had considered impossible proved true: guided by his personal philosophy of "Nutrition, movement, faith", he healed himself.

During his illness, a wish took shape - to walk the Camino de Santiago in the Holy Year 2010. Full of energy and renewed vitality, the 67-year-old eventually set off by bike from Weiden to Santiago de Compostela and Fisterra, all the way to the "end of the world".
