Jin Jim | Jazz - "New Choices"

Jin Jim presents their latest album "New Choices" with: Daniel Manrique-Smith (flute), Johann May (guitar), Ben Tai Trawinski (double bass), Nico Stallmann (drums).

Founded in 2013, the quartet has developed a distinctive blend of prog, hard rock and jazz. The American trade magazine "Downbeat" described their range as spanning "from Hawkwind to Herbie Mann". Early in their career, Jin Jim won the "Future Sounds" competition at the Leverkusener Jazztage; by 2020 they had toured Europe, South and Central America, and Africa, followed by India and Nepal in 2022. In Germany they have performed at Jazz-Baltica, Jazzrally Düsseldorf and Jazztagen Dresden, among others. "New Choices" is the band's third album, following "Die Ankunft" (2015) and "Weiße Schatten" (2018, ACT).

Tickets: Single tickets cost 18 euros (incl. booking fee); individual ticket sales are expected to start on 25 August 2026. Season tickets for the full jazz series (5 concerts) are available from 11 July 2026: 72.50 euros, concession 38.50 euros (incl. booking fee).
