Max Mutzke & Marialy Pacheco: Unsere Nacht

Max Mutzke, one of Germany's most distinctive voices, combines stage presence, authenticity and humour in an incomparable way. In this special duo format, he presents himself in a reduced, intimate yet powerful manner.

He is accompanied by Cuban pianist Marialy Pacheco, whose virtuosic and sensitive playing provides the perfect backdrop to present Mutzke's songs in their purest form: voice meets piano - reduced, intense and yet incredibly multifaceted. This special musical partnership elevates Mutzke's songs to an entirely new level through elegantly and variedly re-arranged versions.

The joy of both musicians in making music together is audible and palpable. Captivated by each other, they created not only a collaboration on Pacheco's album "Duets", but also the independent programme "Unsere Nacht". To put it in Max's words: "Although all the songs of the programme are from me, they found their way into the ear, through the heart and back out through Marialy's hands, and thus completely new, unique versions came into being." Humorous interactions with the audience and stirring moments make every concert an unforgettable experience.
