Max Mutzke (born 21 May 1981 in Waldshut-Tiengen, Black Forest) is a German singer-songwriter whose career took off in 2004 when he won Stefan Raab's TV talent contest SSDSGPS and went on to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Can't Wait Until Tonight", finishing eighth. His debut single topped the German charts, and his self-titled debut album followed suit in 2005, certified gold. Over ten studio albums he has moved fluidly between pop, soul, jazz, funk and R&B, collaborating with artists such as Klaus Doldinger, Till Brönner and the SWR Big Band, and regularly playing around 100 concerts a year.
