Fine dining meets suspense: guests at Hotel Restaurant Zehn Brunnen in Renningen are in for a treat - an elegantly served multi-course menu wrapped around an interactive murder mystery.
"A Fist-Sized Crime"
The highlight of the year in this quiet Swabian town is the annual production by the local cultural association. This year, riding on the back of its previous success, the plan is to stage Goethe's "Faust I" once more. To make it happen, the lead role needs to be recast through a public audition, to which the association's board has warmly invited the townspeople. Linda Bergmann, the well-known local actress who plays Mephista, is also on hand to lend her support. The audition goes surprisingly smoothly - until a sudden death throws the relaxed evening into chaos. Are criminal forces at work? Who can still trust whom?
The seemingly flawless relationship between the cultural association and the small Swabian community begins to crack and threatens to fall apart entirely. Marlene Dieterle - not only the association's chairwoman but also a detective inspector heading the homicide unit - takes charge of the investigation.
Eventually all the threads come together: what happened the previous night at the extravagant farewell party for the former Faust actor? Did someone there confuse fiction with reality? The case is painstakingly reconstructed, and several guests come under suspicion. Inspector Dieterle urgently calls on everyone present to help solve the mysterious case.
The tempting multi-course menu is created and served by the kitchen team at Hotel Restaurant Zehn Brunnen. The evening kicks off at 19:00, with doors opening at 18:30.
