Description was written before the event

The Bulgarian Voices Angelite ensemble presents their programme "The Magic of Choir Music" - Bulgarian folk music in sophisticated choral arrangements. This music is characterised by floating polyphony, striking dissonances, and complex rhythms typical of South-Eastern European traditions.

The repertoire ranges from traditional songs to modern arrangements and contemporary compositions. The ensemble is conducted by Georgi Petkov.

About the venue: Dreikönigskirche

The Dreikönigskirche (Church of the Three Kings) is a baroque Protestant church on the Hauptstraße in Dresden's Neustadt district, built in the early 18th century. Its interior houses a rare late-Gothic Dance of Death frieze salvaged from an earlier building. Today the church serves as a cultural venue alongside regular worship, hosting concerts, readings and public events.
