SOMMERKONZERT
Pfarrkirche St. Trudpert, Münstertal, Germany
Music has united violinist Anke Ohnmacht-Döling, cellist Martina Jessel, and Karin Karle at the organ for many years. Their fellow student, composer Christian Billian, has composed a "Trilogy on Light" especially for these three musicians, which will have its world premiere today. In the pieces "Nachtleuchten", "Lichtschimmern", and "Kaleidoskop", he has set various aspects of light to music. Light is existential for all living beings, rhythmizing their lives. The intimate interweaving of light and sound becomes palpable in a church in a special way. Works by Rheinberger and Bach for this distinctive ensemble will also be performed. Anke Ohnmacht-Döling is a member of the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra and performs chamber music in various formations. Cellist Martina Jessel works freelance as a teacher, supervisor, and cellist, particularly in the field of chamber music. Karin Karle is the district cantor of the Freiburg Archdiocese with her office at St. Trudpert in Münstertal, organist, and director of the diverse church music at St. Trudpert. She trains church musicians and directs the concert series "Konzerte St. Trudpert".
