Open Air Cinema - Extrawurst

"Extrawurst" is a social comedy directed by Marcus H. Rosenmüller, based on the hit stage play by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob.

The chaotic plot unfolds at the annual general meeting of a small tennis club in rural Germany. A seemingly harmless motion to buy a second barbecue grill for the club's only Muslim member, Erol, sets off a heated argument about cultural differences, prejudice, religion and social cohesion.

The cast features acclaimed actors Hape Kerkeling, Christoph Maria Herbst, Fahri Yardım and Anja Knauer, who bring sharp dialogue and comic precision to the absurdities of everyday life and the complexity of human relationships.
