That quote says it all. South African guitarist Dan Patlansky keeps proving he is a blues musician of the highest order, capable of holding his own against the very best in the world.

After his debut album "Standing At The Station" (2000), the records "True Blues" [2004], "Real" [2006] and "Move My Soul" [2009] were purposeful but still introductory steps toward what was to come. In 2012, "Daddy's Old Gun" from his album "20 Stones" was named one of the best singles of the year by Rolling Stone magazine, while the same album made Blues Rock Review's list of the ten best albums of 2012. In 2013, Patlansky made his first serious push into Europe, leaving a lasting impression - including in the Netherlands. After touring with Everlast, he opened for one of the biggest artists on the planet in February 2014, playing to 64,000 people at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg: The Boss from Long Branch, New Jersey - Bruce Springsteen.
