London, late 19th century. The rigid codes of virtue and morality of the Victorian age shape the city's character. It is in the Soho district that trouble begins. A strikingly violent man first terrorises London's entertainment quarter, then the whole city. One name keeps coming up: Mr. Hyde. Yet the police cannot catch him - his trail vanishes without explanation. Until one day it leads to the house of Dr. Jekyll. The ambitious young physician insists that Hyde poses no danger. Until Hyde commits murder. A suspicion suddenly takes hold: are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde one and the same person?
A pursuit of the riddle of good and evil - with suspense, a touch of gothic dread, a hint of frivolity, and dry humour.
Stage adaptation and direction: Peter W. Hermanns
