The Chambers - Virtuosos from Cologne

The Chambers perform classical music by Verdi, Bach, Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and others - alongside pop music in both modern and classical arrangements.

Concertmaster and arrangements: Artiom Kononov, violin. Possible instrumentation: violin, viola, cello, double bass, and pan flute/transverse flute - flexibly adapted to each concert.

In recognition of their exceptional work, the ensemble received a grant this year from the Music Council and the Kultur aus Berlin initiative. Selected by a jury, the Chambers were awarded support that few orchestras in Germany have access to. The members met in Cologne but come from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Georgia, Latvia, Greece, and France - a living example that culture across borders not only works, but brings inspiration together.
