Black Forest Jazz Festival 2026 - REAL / ZITT / KLÖFFER

Justin Zitt, Aitziber Cofre Real and Nico Klöffer first met in 2022 as members of the excellence ensemble "Gutenberg Jazz Collective" in Mainz. For a year they worked intensively on music alongside jazz luminaries such as Billy Hart, Ingrid Jensen, Kris Davis, Becca Stevens and Ben Street. What emerged from that experience is a deep bond between the three musicians and a shared artistic vision. The trio wins over audiences with its natural cohesion and daring, virtuosic improvisations, with lively interplay framed by a sensitive chamber line-up: piano, bass and voice.

For their concert at the Löwensaal as part of the Black Forest Jazz Festival, the three have put together a programme of their own compositions alongside favourite jazz standards, offering fresh interpretations that cast these familiar pieces in an entirely new light.
