Chamber Music Concert 3 - Almaviva Cello Quartett - Opera & Crossover

The Almaviva Cello Quartett grew out of the friendship of four cellists from the Stuttgarter Staatsorchester. The quartet was founded in 2023 at a late-night concert at the Kunstverein Stuttgart, and the audience's enthusiastic response naturally led the musicians to perform more often and explore new repertoire.

Driven by a desire to push their instrumental virtuosity, a deep love for the operatic repertoire that forms their musical home, and a flair for crossover and film-music arrangements, the members of Almaviva Cello Quartett have quickly moved on to increasingly prestigious venues - including the Ludwigsburger Festspiele, the festival "A portee de rue" in Castres (FR), the Hotel-Dieu concerts in Louhans (FR), Stuttgart's "Lange Nacht der Museen", and the chamber music series of the Stuttgarter Oper.
