The concert programme "She" places female composers from different centuries at its centre. Chorwerk Ruhr brings together their works in a unified programme - at the heart stands Caroline Shaw's "Partita for 8 Voices". The American composer drew inspiration from Sol LeWitt's painting "Wall Drawing 305", which creates a new whole from 100 randomly placed dots. Similarly, around Shaw's work gather female composers from past and present.
