Trio Risonante is one of the most promising young chamber ensembles of its generation. As scholarship holders of the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb, all three musicians have been selected for the prestigious national programme "Konzerte Junger Künstler".

The ensemble presents a varied programme spanning Classical, Romantic and early Modern repertoire. At its heart are two major clarinet trios: Beethoven's spirited and virtuosic "Gassenhauer" Trio op. 11, and Brahms' late A minor Trio op. 114 - a cornerstone of Romantic chamber music.

Between these anchors come shorter pieces and miniatures that explore contrasting musical characters, from lyrical and intimate to vivid and free-spirited. A rarely heard composer from the turn of the twentieth century rounds out the programme with a less familiar perspective. The overall arc is deliberately varied, showcasing the stylistic range of the clarinet-cello-piano combination.
