Gauklerbrunnen, Fürth, Germany
"... and whoever has not seen a Jew and an innkeeper has not been to Fürth", wrote Erhard Andreas Saueracker in 1786. Today, the city nicknamed Kleeblattstadt (City of the Cloverleaf) still has no shortage of taverns and inns.
On this staged walk through the old town, a guide leads the way alongside eight actors, bringing to life stories about wine, beer and the local drinking establishments. Expect a lively journey through history - with a glass or two of more or less authentic period beverages along the way!
