Wasn't it just recently that a young Joo Kraus and bassist Helmut Hattler, as the hip-jazz duo Tab Two, sent entirely new groove waves around the world? Now the trumpeter with the refined tone celebrates his 60th birthday - at the Einhaldenfestival, no less. He has invited friends who promise a spectacular musical event: the fabulous Tales in Tones Trio and the Sirius Quartet.

Anyone who has ever tried to pin down the versatile, multi-award-winning brass player Joo Kraus has come away empty-handed - he simply refuses to be confined to any one style. With keyboardist Ralf Schmid, bassist Veit Hübner and drummer Torsten Krill from his beloved Tales in Tones Trio, Joo Kraus has always relished experimentation - they work together instinctively. At Einhaldenfestival 2026, the Sirius Quartet - a string quartet of the highest order - also steps into this open-air musical laboratory. Expect surprising sounds and the unpredictable reactions of untamed elements!
