In 2026, Ensemble Estampie celebrates 40 years on stage and 30 years of concerts at the Uckermärkische Musikwochen.

The ensemble has taken early music to half the world, released numerous CDs, and realised cross-disciplinary projects spanning theatre, dance, and performance.

At the heart of Estampie's creative work is the connection between past, present, and future, alongside encounters with distant cultures and religions - India, Mongolia, Persia, Morocco, and many more.

With their distinctive sound, Estampie interprets German Minnesang, troubadour and pilgrim songs, and spirited instrumental music with intense percussion. The programme also looks back at legendary Estampie shows: "Crusaders", "Secrets of the north", "Marco Polo", and "Seidenstraße".
