Passion & Pracht - Baroque Music and Spanish Classics Meet Tango and Flamenco

Connecting musical worlds, playing with styles, finding a new language of one's own - these are the building blocks of duo finesco's instrumental poetry. Under the motto "Passion & Pracht", Juliane Winkler and Christof Schill present an extraordinary programme that crosses the boundaries of time and style: an evening of passion and elegance, bringing together Spanish classical music, the opulence of the Baroque, and the fiery spirit of Flamenco.

The programme features masterworks by Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, Henry Purcell, and Barbara Strozzi, tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and various forms of Flamenco music including Bulerías, Fandangos, and Guajiras. Cross-stylistic arrangements weave together the expressive voice of the violin, the driving rhythms of the guitar, and the occasionally wistful melodies of the accordion. Variety is the guiding principle here - delivered with joy and a spirit of adventure.
