In 1909, Sweden's Selma Lagerlöf became the first woman in the world to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. Three years earlier, she had written the book "Die wundersame Reise des kleinen Nils Holgersson mit den Wildgänsen" for reading lessons in Swedish primary schools. In it, a fourteen-year-old boy rides the gander Martin across the entire Kingdom of Sweden - from Skåne in the south to Lapland in the north.

Actress Annett Renneberg, a fan favourite from TV series such as "Kommissar Stolberg" and "In aller Freundschaft", will read excerpts from this travel tale, accompanied on piano by Hideyo Harada, who adds a musical layer to the geographical journey through Sweden.
