Spiritus Domini - Opening Concert

The Westminster Cathedral Choir is without doubt one of the world's finest boys' choirs. Since its founding in 1903, it has held a leading position among England's great cathedral choirs. It is the only Catholic cathedral choir in the world that still sings daily (!) Masses and Vespers at its London cathedral. The choir has recorded many works from its wide-ranging repertoire on CD over the years - but hearing it live outside Westminster Cathedral is a rare occasion indeed!

We are all the more delighted that this exceptional ensemble is joining us as part of the Internationale Musiktage and opening this year's festival!
