After a gap of several years, this humorous and musical event returns - an afternoon where Gerhard Polt and the Well brothers read texts by Oskar Maria Graf. Polt is a devoted admirer of Graf, a storyteller who grew up in a baker's family on the shores of Lake Starnberg. A self-taught writer, Graf knew the modest lives of ordinary people from the inside. From that "frog's-eye view" he captured social fault lines, hypocrisy, and the Bavarian village clergy - sharply satirical, sometimes bitter, always hitting the mark.

The parade of Bavarian characters you can't help laughing at is set to classical Bavarian music, Alpine singing, and a range of instruments played by Stofferl, Karl, and Michael Well. Simply wonderful.
