Gerhard Polt is a German cabaret artist, actor and writer born in 1942 in Munich. He is known for his satirical monologues and sketches that portray Bavarian everyday life with sharp wit. He has a long-standing collaboration with the folk-music group Well-Brüder, with whom he regularly performs on stage.
