Gerhard Polt & Well Brüder - Apropos

The Well Brüder - Christoph, Michael and Karl Well - are a new trio formed after the dissolution of "Biermösl-Blosn". With virtuosity across various instruments, they comment on Bavarian life with an urbane, cheeky wit.

Gerhard Polt sits on stage almost incidentally, nearly overshadowed by the instrumental arsenal. But when he rises for one of his monologues, the stage shrinks and his power grows - an unsettling power. What emerges is the banality of everyday evil, the kind we prefer to avoid in a pub, in a supermarket queue, or on the bus.
