Juri and the Mysteries of Eine kleine Nachtmusik

Juri Tetzlaff, presenter of KiKA-Baumhaus, invites audiences to a musical adventure inspired by Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" - packed with wit, knowledge and imagination. The show runs at two times: 11:00 and 12:45.

Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" is one of the most famous works in classical music - and yet it is full of puzzles. Why is it called "night music" at all? And what exactly is "small" about it? Does a minuet have anything to do with a minaret? Together with the Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Juri Tetzlaff digs into these questions and turns the concert into a gripping musical detective story: with a sharp eye for clues and plenty of humour, he examines Mozart's score, exposes "musical piracy" and reconstructs a nocturnal rendezvous between the composer and his beloved Constanze.

With his lively storytelling and musical curiosity, Tetzlaff invites the audience - especially families and young listeners - to hear Mozart's music with fresh ears. The concert blends knowledge, entertainment and audience interaction.
