Juri Tetzlaff, host of KiKA-Baumhaus, takes Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" as the starting point for a musical adventure full of wit and imagination. Both performances take place at 11:00 and 12:45.
Why is the piece actually called "night music"? What is "little" about it? Does a minuet have anything to do with a minaret? Together with the Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Tetzlaff pursues these questions - with a detective's instinct, plenty of humour, and genuine curiosity. Along the way he examines Mozart's score, uncovers "musical piracy", and reconstructs a nocturnal rendezvous between the composer and his beloved Constanze.
The concert is aimed especially at families and young listeners, blending knowledge, entertainment, and audience interaction.
