Interpretationssache - Der Musikpodcast live in Concert

In the music podcast "Interpretationssache", music journalist, composer and SR kultur host Roland Kunz regularly embarks on musical adventures. In each episode, he takes a hit from rock, classical, jazz, chanson or pop, researches its origins and the stories surrounding it, and analyzes its musical DNA. He also goes on a journey of discovery through archives, streaming platforms and record collections to find cover versions and interpretations that put the original in a completely new light.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2026, "Interpretationssache" will be heard live for the third time in the Grand Studio Hall of Saarland Radio. Together with musicians from Hochschule für Musik Saar, Roland Kunz explores two very different pieces that evening: Sting's most fragile hit and an extraordinarily versatile Christmas song.
