Walls and Bridges
Kupfersaal, Leipzig, Germany

Direction: Anne Kohler and Tine Fris-Ronsfeld
In their concert programme "Walls and Bridges", the award-winning vocal ensemble Pop-Up explores what separates and what connects - both individuals and communities. The evening touches on social control, rejection, respect, compassion, and the capacity to see the deeply human in one another, building a healing bridge of empathy and love. Songs like "Runaway" by Aurora and "Everglow" by Coldplay invite reflection, while "World, o World" by Jacob Collier and "Evergreen" by Yebba take the audience musically across the bridge into the beyond. Humour is part of the mix too, with arrangements by Isabella Champion, Tine Fris-Ronsfeld, Manuel Grunden, Oliver Gies, Leonard Hoepner, and Stefan Flügel carrying the evening.
