Der Hype um Leipzig - Contemporary Choir Music mit Lype

Lype is a contemporary choir from Leipzig with nearly 70 singers aged between 20 and 50. Their sound moves between cinematic and fantasy atmospheres, expressed through intricate vocal arrangements by pop choral heavyweights James Rose, Rob Dietz and Ben Bram, as well as original works by choir director Daniel Barke.

The programme ranges from a new take on the choral classic "And So it Goes" to "Shir Avoda" and "Die Lorelei", where Jewish and German song traditions meet. Also on the bill: music by Jacob Collier, Billy Joel, Nemo, Joachim Rust and Alec Roth.
