Festival Aqua Sonata - a symphony of water, light and music in the castle park

The Aqua Sonata festival takes place in the castle park of Schloß Vietgest. At its heart is the castle pond, from which fountains rise and dance to the music while a light show accompanies the evening.

Award-winning soprano Stella Motina performs arias and songs centred on the theme of water.

The festival has no fixed, numbered seating: visitors wander freely through the park, from terrace to pavilion, from bench to bench and drinks-and-snacks station.
